History
La Llorona is a legend that's been spread throughout time. The story changes from region to region. La Llorona drowned her kids when she was alive. As punishment, she must roam the Earth endlessly for what she did to her children. However, she roams Earth kidnapping kids in order to make up for her sins. They say they can hear her weeps throughout the village, "Where are my kids? I want my kids...."
The Event
"Escapar De La Llorona" is a multi-day event that takes place in a small village. Attendees use the lantern to run away from "La Llorona." They need the lantern and their tiny pamphlet in order to get into the event.
